Neighborhood Pride in the Hilltop, May 16-20

A new season is gearing up for Neighborhood Pride; the city’s initiative to engage residents, businesses, and volunteers to clean-up, fix-up, and beautify residential areas.
On April 14, Mayor Michael Coleman announced that on May 16 - 20, Neighborhood Pride will be in the Hilltop. The South Ogden Avenue and the Avenues of Vida Place Block Watches are going to work together to clean up the area.
In addition to street being swept, potholes filled, and catch basins inspected/repaired, each of the pride areas will have a week of events.
Neighborhood Safety Academy on May 17, a community bike ride on May 18, and Mayor Coleman’s Community Night on May 19.
A Bicycle Safety Festival will be held at the neighborhood elementary school, and select middle school students will be chosen to participate in the Neighborhood Pride Talent Search, which will begin in the fall.
All Pride week activities for the week will be at End Time Apostolic Christian Holiness Church at 650 S. Warren Ave.
