The Grove City High School boys tennis team are 5-0 this season. On April 8, the Greyhounds won 5-0 over the Westland Cougars. Above, senior Corinne Haines is shown here serving her way to a 6-1, 6-3 win over Westland sophomore Dylan Clanin. Haines and Joy Kirkpatrick were two female additions to the boy's team this year that didn't get a chance to play during the the girls tennis season in the fall. Fall sports were cut due to a failed levy in the summer. Haines, a team captain, said the boys have welcomed the girls.

Grove City junior Joey Hemphill won 6-0, 6-0 over Westland senior Dave Griffith in a April 8 match-up at Westland. The Greyhounds won the match 5-0 bringing their season record to 5-0.
