CONRAD
Donald P. Conrad, 65, of London died Feb. 27 in Mount Carmel Medical Center, Columbus. Born Dec. 28, 1944, in Circleville, he was a son of Gaylord and Phyllis (Roberts) Conrad. Donald was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, had worked as a printer at the former Conrad Studios, and was a member of the Central Ohio Bee Keepers Association. Funeral services were held March 4 in Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home and Crematory, London.
CURETON (CUTLIP)
Janet Elaine (Cutlip) Cureton, 57, of Perrysburg died Feb. 27 in Saint Luke’s Hospital, Maumee. Janet was born Sept. 30, 1952, in Madison County, a daughter of Charles and Evelyn (McCoy) Cutlip. She was a member of Sylvania Methodist Church and Newport United Methodist Church. She graduated from London High School in 1971 and from Clark Technical College in 1973. She was continuing her education with Lord’s College in Sylvania, Ohio. Janet loved puzzles, magazines and loved to read the Disciple Of Jesus in her bible and loved art. She had a great, friendly personality, and never met a stranger. Funeral services were held March 4 at Rader-Lynch and Dodds Funeral Home, London. DAILEY
Dorothy Virginia Bailey, 86, of Pasadena, Fla., formerly of Mount Sterling, died Feb. 27 in Pinellas Park Rehab & Care Center. She was born May 13, 1923, in Pickaway County, Ohio, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Puckett) McGath. A funeral service was held March 5 at Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, Mount Sterling.
JENKINS
Frank “KO” Jenkins died March 2 at home. He was born in London on Aug. 23, 1926, to Paul and Gertrude (Scheurer) Jenkins. He graduated from London High School in 1944 where he played football. He attended The Ohio State University and served in Germany in World War II. Throughout his life, he was active in sports. He was a Golden Gloves boxer and fought in the heavyweight and light heavyweight divisions. He was a high school football official for many years and officiated for the Ohio Athletic Conference college league. He was especially known for his diving and swimming abilities. Frank raised and raced harness horses. In his later life, as a member of the London Country Club, he played golf and cards. He also read and followed sports teams on television. He managed London’s municipal swimming pool and served as a volunteer fireman for London. He was an 18-year member and past president of the Madison County Mental Health Board. Frank was extremely active with the Masonic Temple. His accomplishments include: 50-year member and past worshipful master of Chandler Lodge 138 F&AM; knighted knight templar, 1958; Knight of York Cross of Honor in Ohio Priory 18, Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priest Temple 62; and charter member, first sovereign master and emeritus member of John L. Owsley Council AMD 217. Frank was a life member of AMVETS, Post 19, DAV Post 93, H.V. Christopher Post 1176 VFW, and Madison Memorial Post 105, American Legion. Frank retired as a journeyman tool and die maker from Westinghouse. A masonic service was held March 5 at Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home, London.
