Holiday events in Reynoldsburg and Pickerington
Reynoldsburg
Tree lighting
Reynoldsburg will kick off the holiday season with its annual tree lighting at 7 p.m. Nov. 30 on the steps of the Municipal Building.
Entertainment will be provided by students from Baldwin Junior High School, under the direction of Janet Benedict.
Christmas on the Town
Reynoldsburg's Christmas on the Town will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 5 in Old Reynoldsburg.
The Livingston House and the Truro Township Historical House will be open that day as well.
The event will include carriage rides from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Riders must give a $1 per person donation or contribute a food item for the Helping Hands food pantry.
There also will be a Santa and Secret Santa on hand, as well as a quartet - all being furnished by the Reynoldsburg High School Band Boosters.
At 10 a.m. that day, the mural on the Cotner Funeral Home building will be dedicated as well.

Pickerington
Victorian Holiday Gathering
Pickerington will hold a Victorian Holiday gathering from 5 to 9 p.m. Dec. 4 in Olde Pickerington Village.
The event will include visits and photos with Santa, strolling carolers and free children's activities.
The city also will hold its annual tree lighting ceremony during the event at 7:30 p.m.
The event is co-sponsored by the Olde Pickerington Village Business Association and the city of Pickerington.

Breakfast with Santa
The Pickerington Senior Center will host a "Breakfast with Santa" Dec. 5 at the center, located at 150 Hereford Drive.
Seating times are 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Tickets will be sold through Dec. 3 at the Parks and Recreation Department, 51 E. Columbus St. Make checks payable to Pickerington Senior Center.
The event also will include a Secret Santa Shoppe, a kids' craft station, a bake sale and Christmas music.
