What is your Hilltop? A Story Collection Day
The Hilltop Library and Ohio State University's Center for the Study and Teaching of Writing are co-sponsoring a day of story telling at the Hilltop Library from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 21.
All are welcome to drop by and tell us a story that represents the Hilltop. Stories can be about the rich history of the Hilltop, the challenges faced today, and the benefits of living in this diverse community.
Your story will be recorded (as audio or video, your choice) and have a scanner available to digitize any small collection of photographs that you bring in. The hope is to archive the stories permanently on OSU's servers and make them available for free via the Internet.
This event is part of a free community media class held weekly. The "What is your Hilltop?" class meets on Friday's from 4-6 p.m. also at the library. For information about the class or the day of story telling, contact: Dickie Selfe, director, Center for the Study and Teaching of Writing, Ohio State University at (614) 688-5960 or e-mail selfe.3@osu.edu.
