RHS's DECA cleaning house
Reynoldsburg High School DECA is cleaning house.
The association of marketing students is following the example of the television show and hosting a huge garage sale that will feature Reynoldsburg apparel from the high school bookstore at low prices.
"One could easily walk away with an armful of hoodies, T-shirts and the like, for under $25," DECA President Jenelle Krumlauf said.
The DECA Garage Sale will be held at the high school in the cafeteria and cafe patio from 5 to 8 p.m. March 27 and 9 a.m. to noon March 28.
DECA will accept cash and all sales are final. The proceeds from this sale will help the DECA members who will attend the International DECA Career Development Conference in Anaheim, Calif. at the end of April.
DECA, an association of marketing students, explores the different roles of marketing through study, events and competition. There are 33 members at Reynoldsburg High School and nearly 180,000 members worldwide. Students must take the course marketing, management and research at the high school to be a member of DECA.
