Central Crossing High School’s marching band was one of four bands that participated in the Westland Area Business Association Independence Day Parade held June 28.

The Red Hat Ladies, Purple Pansies Chapter, had a good time while they rode in style.

 
 

The students of Choon Mo Yang Tae Kwon Do, located on West Broad Street, put on a show for spectators at the parade, taking a running leap and breaking wooden blocks while other students lay below.

 
 

The Cheer Center AllStars stopped traffic with their spectacular stunts.

 
 

The Columbus Division of Police sent officers to ride horseback during the event.

 
 

The Red Hat Divas of Columbus, dressed in their signature purple and red, brought energy and fun to the event.

 
 

The Dance Center West truck was decorated patriotically from bumper to bumper.

 
 A float provided by St. Paul’s Lutheran Church gave puppets center stage.
 
 

Prairie Township Trustees rode in style in a new-model Ford Mustang.

 
 

Even the pooches were feeling patriotic.
