The Crossroads Storm finished 4-0 to win the 2008 Valleyview Memorial Day Coach Pitch baseball tournament. Bishop Ready senior Ian Graham was presented the Jack Cannon Scholar Athlete Award, an award given annually to a scholar athlete who plays football in the Central Catholic League (CCL). Criteria include outstanding football ability, a 3.0 or better grade point average, and peer group respect and admiration. The award has been presented by the Shamrock Club since 1982 and is voted on by the football coaches of the CCL. Graham is a member of Bishop Ready’s National Honor Society, is a dean’s list student and a Ready Ambassador. He has played both football and basketball for four years at Bishop Ready and baseball for one year. He was king of the Homecoming Court his senior year. Graham is a Gold Cord graduate, having attained a grade point average of 3.5 or better. He plans to attend Capital University next year.
