The Bishop Ready Silver Knights claimed the 2008 Division III Central District Boys Basketball Championship at Columbus Fairgrounds Coliseum. On the way they had wins over Richwood North Union and Cardington - Lincoln. In the Feb. 28 final against Madison Plains, the Knights won by a score of 60-52.

Sophomore, Joe Graessle of Bishop Ready defends against Nick Joslin of Madison Plains at the Division III Central District Championship. The Silver Knights claimed a 60-52 win, the championship, and the right to head to Athens for regional action in their bid for the state championship.
