Whitehall wrestlers are winners
Outstanding wrestler was the appropriate name on the award given to Whitehall Yearling High School's Corey Dulaney, above, at the 30th annual Bishop Ready Winter Classic Dec. 27-28. Dulaney is shown here on his way to an 11-2 final round win over Marion Franklins Quintan Ryman in the 145-lb. class at the tournament. The Outstanding wrestler award is voted on by the tournament's coaches. Below, Whitehall's Andrew Burchnell (in white) and David Dubiel of Bishop Ready battled for fifth place in the 140-lb. weight class, with Burchnell coming out on top 13-5. Whitehall took sixth place overall out of 25 teams. |
