Turkey shoot
The Reynoldsburg Lions Club will host a turkey shoot at 10 a.m. on Sundays through May 20. The shoot will take place at 13685 Basil Road, Baltimore. For more information, call (614) 378-9272.
Charity basketball game
The Reynoldsburg Pickerington Rotary Club is hosting the Harlem Wizards charity basketball game April 18 at Pickerington North High School and April 19 at Reynoldsburg High School.
The community event is a major fundraiser for the club, which organizes local projects each year. Tickets are $8 for students and $10 for adults.

English tea
The Livingston House Society will host and English Tea event from 1 to 3 p.m. April 21 at the Livingston House in Reynoldsburg.
Light refreshments and finger foods will be served, in addition to tea. The house will come to life as former occupant Mrs. Livingston will regale visitors with tales of life in Reynoldsburg, her family and life in the home during the late 1800s.
Participants also are welcome to tour the home following the tea.
Space is limited, so reserve tickets by calling (614) 322-6806. There is a $10 fee per person for this program, with proceeds benefiting the preservation of the home and programming offered by the Livingston House Society.
Youth harmonic auditions
The Youth Philharmonic of Central Ohio is accepting applications for advanced musicians, grades 8-12 for violins, violas, cellos, string bass, flutes, oboes, clarinets, bassoons, trumpets, French horns, trombones, tubas and percussion.
Auditions will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. May 6, 6 to 9 p.m. May 7 and 6 to 9 p.m. May 8 at Otterbein University.

Plant sale
The Four Seasons Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 5 at the Livingston House, 1792 Graham Road, Reynoldsburg.
Home alone class
The city of Reynoldsburg will hold a “Home Alone” class - a one-day course for boys and girls ages 10 to 13 that teaches them how to stay home alone safe.
The class will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. April 25 at the Reynoldsburg Municipal Building, 7232 E. Main St. Cost is $25 for residents and $35 for non-residents.
Children will learn how to handle strangers at the door or on the phone, what to do in case of a fire or emergency and how to plan a course of action to help kids respond to potentially dangerous situations.
Kids also will learn how to fix quick and healthy snacks.
Register at any time by visiting the parks and recreation office, 7232 E. Main St., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Immunization clinics
Franklin County Public Health will offer childhood immunizations during the month of April at a variety of locations throughout the community.
Immunizations will be available from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. April 24 at the Pickerington Public Library, 201 Opportunity Way.
Required immunizations are available for a $10 administration fee per shot for children ages 1 month through 18 years of age.
In addition, there is a $15 assessment fee that will be charged at each visit. Children’s seasonal flu shots are now available at these clinics. The cost is $10 per shot. There is no $15 assessment fee charged unless other types of shots are given at the same visit. Only cash or check, Medicaid, CareSource and Molina will be accepted. However, no one will be turned away due to the inability to pay for childhood immunizations.
Bring the child’s shot record to the clinic during the visit. A completed consent form is required if a parent or legal guardian is not present at the clinic. For more information or locations, go to www.myfcph.org or call (614) 525-3719.
