2012 Fairfield County dog licenses on sale
Fairfield County 2012 dog licenses will go on sale beginning Dec. 1.
The licenses will be sold at the auditor’s office, located on the second floor of the courthouse in Lancaster weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. through Jan. 31. Licenses also are available at three Pickerington locations: BMV, 473 Hill Road North; Discount Drug Mart, 845 Hill Road; and Pet People, 1023 Hill Road North.
Dog tags also may be ordered online at http://dogtags.co.fairfield.oh.us.
Dog licenses are $12 and must be purchased for any dog 3 months and older. A kennel license is $60. Licenses not purchased by Jan. 31 will be subject to a late penalty equal to the amount of the license fee per House Bill 454.
