The following are upcoming events and programs at the Pickerington Public Library, located at 201 Opportunity Way.
 
Computer classes

Write-In
 
November is National Novel Writing Month and the Pickerington Public Library is holding a Write-In from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 16 and 30.
 
Guests may meet up with other writers to participate in a hands-on writing adventure. The event encourages attendees to bash out 50,000 words to create the novel they have always wanted to write.

‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’
 
At 1:30 p.m. Nov. 19, come celebrate the release of the sixth “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” book, “Cabin Fever.” Kids 7 and older are invited to participate in trivia, games, activities and prizes based on the book series. Register by calling (614) 837-4101, ext. 231.
 
Learn2Save
 
From 9:30 to 11 a.m. Nov. 19, join Melissa and Kimberly from the Columbus Coupon Connection as they teach realistic couponing tips and tricks to help in this economy. For more information, go to www.learn2saveohio.com.
 
Immunization clinic
 
The Franklin County Public Health Immunization Clinic will hold an immunization clinic from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 22.
 
Parents/guardians need to bring shot records for children. Dress accordingly (T-shirts and tops with loose sleeves).
 
Clinics are a walk-in basis; No appointments necessary. Any questions, contact the Franklin County Public Health  at (614) 525-3719 or shots@franklincountyohio.gov.
 
Book club
 
The Not Your Mother’s Library Book Club will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Nov. 22. November’s selection is “Night Circus” by Erin Morgenstern.
 
The club is skipping December due to the holidays, but will resume Jan. 24 with “Saving CeeCee Honeycutt” by Beth Hoffman.
 
“Steel Magnolias” meets “The Help” in this Southern debut novel sparkling with humor, heart and feminine wisdom and bonding. Questions, call (614) 837-4104, ext. 221.
 
Book fair
 
Help the Pickerington Public Library Nov. 25 while shopping at Barnes & Noble in Pickerington.
 
Present a voucher, or just remember to tell a cashier that you want to support the library, and a percentage of the net sale will be contributed to the library. This event counts in the café as well.
 
Join us for the following programs: “American Girls – Cecile & Marie-Grace” at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. (activities appropriate for ages 8 and older), and “If You Give a Dog a Donut” at 1 p.m. (activities appropriate for ages 3 and older).
