Prairie Township began the demolition of former Hometown Inn July 11 at 8 a.m. The project three years in the making will clear way for the beginning of the South Grener Avenue Phase III project.

Heavy debris is removed from the second floor of the building. The township expects the entire building to be demolished within two days.

A segment of the balcony is torn from the building and set aside with the rest of the ruble.

The contractor progresses into the interior of the building.
